Sell or hold

Which Pokémon cards to sell or hold

Live buy and sell signals from real 7-day vs 30-day momentum, with the net you'd take home. Data refreshed October 26, 2026.

How to read this: a SELL signal means the card is trading materially above its 30-day average — the market is hot, so selling into strength can lock in gains. A BUY signal means it has cooled below its 30-day average — a potential value window. A HOLD is a stable, higher-value card with no strong short-term move. Always pair the signal with the card’s net proceeds — the number you actually keep after fees.

FAQ

Sell or hold — questions

How are the sell and buy signals calculated?

Each card's momentum is its 7-day average sold price versus its 30-day average (Cardmarket). Cards trading well above the 30-day average carry a SELL signal (the market is hot); those trading well below carry a BUY signal (a dip). Everything else — stable, higher-value cards — is a HOLD.

Are these financial recommendations?

No. These are data-driven signals based on recent short-term price movement, not advice. Momentum can reverse quickly, so confirm against a card's full price page, its net proceeds, and recent sold listings before acting.

What does 'net' mean here?

Net is the best take-home across eBay, TCGplayer, Cardmarket, Whatnot and direct sales, after commission and typical shipping on the card's current market value. It is much less than the sticker price — which is exactly why the signal alone isn't enough.
